The main brief of the redesign was that it had to become somewhat more modern, with “design-like” as a keyword. The original colours used on the old website were green and aqua blue, which I switched to a corporate blue with a touch of orange. I also simplified the logo, making it just a little thicker and taking out the small letters to work well on mobile devices too.

Like most websites, this one needed to have a contact form, but also other contact options. The design of the form was to make sure the user had a clear option between contacting through a form and directly calling or messaging through LinkedIn.

The original site had a page with recent projects, but this doesn’t exist anymore on the current build. Instead, I included the recent projects into the About section, as a type of portfolio of works. The recent projects are now featured in a slider. No full page with information that is irrelevant to most users, but a compact and visually appealing section.

The general layout of the main pages is similar, with two columns side by side – one for images, one for text. This makes the website easy and clear to navigate. Simplicity is key here.
